The automation of work is here. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is software that can automate tasks and processes currently performed by people and is the first step on the journey of intelligent automation. HR professionals should developing a basic understanding of RPA, the opportunities it presents, and the potential organizational impacts.
The objective of the program is to provide a basic understanding of the benefits of automation, understand the criteria for candidate processes, and understand the impact to the workforce.
As the leader of the Process Automation Center of Excellence, Dana supports Ingersoll Rand’s enterprise process excellence focus as IR seeks to optimize technology, automation and information for greater effectiveness and efficiency and differentiated business results. Dana is responsible for maintaining the RPA technology ecosystem, collaborating with business and process leaders to identify and pursue opportunities for process automation, and serves as a liaison with third-party implementation partners and software developers.
She has twenty years of experience in HR and Payroll using a variety of technology solutions. Recent experiences include implementation of IR’s first “bot”, PeopleSoft HRMS upgrade, and improvements to numerous data processes and data quality as the value stream leader for the Employee Master Data Management Value Stream.
Dana holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and an MBA from Ball State University.
